enjoyed the stay, but the staff did not speak english, they were extremely helpful but at times it was hard to communicate
the showers drains were very loud and did not have hot water the last morning

Nothing to complain about, overall top quality place.
Spotlessly clean hotel with perfect and excellent location in Berlin really close to the center of Berlin with the metro and Kurfürstendamm right in-front of the door, the airport, and the metro station and various important locations and points of interest. Recommend to everyone.

I liked the location (really near Kufurstendamm, metro, zoo and Kaiser-Wilhelm church). Indispensable breakfast.
The receptionists don't speek english. Doesn't exist a lift and you have to carrythe bags by stairs.

The rooms were airy, cheap, came with sofa, 2 single beds, as for instance.

The staff here are extremely friendly and accommodating with a great sense of humor, and the suite we booked was spacious and newly furnished. Rewritten: the staff here are really friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humor, and the suite we had was spacious and fresh.

The rooms gives a vintage classic feeling. Location is good.
Room amenities are missing. And used/dirty towels didn't get replaced after 1 day. Just hang back to the rack.

The only thing going for this Pension is its location.
This Hotel should not be 3*. The rooms resemble dormitories, and the bathrooms are tiny. Wi-fi, advertised as free throughout, didn't work. Paying by Visa card was an ordeal - the receptionist didn't know how to work the machine. If budget accommodation is what you're looking for, this is it.

I liked the location without the associated high cost. The staff were friendly and helpful if a little lacking in confidence with their English. That's about it.
Having read pevious reviews I was not daunted by the stairs or the dirty stained carpet leading to the hotel. There were no carpets or runners in the hallways and that made footsteps at night seem very loud. The hotel is very basic and as long as you are prepared for that, fine.
